Skewen Community Garden will be holding a Pumpkin Carving and Apple Day on Sunday 27th October in Skewen Park starting at 11am.
During this event, and on behalf of Skewen & District Society, Skewen Community Garden will plant a Mountain Ash tree in commemoration of the fallen from our area during WW1 and WW2. This tree will be a replacement for the two acer trees originally planted in 2016 which were vandalised. The new tree will be located within the safe confines of Skewen Community Garden and we are grateful for their support. Everyone is welcome to attend the event. The tree planting will take place at approximately 12pm.
